01About us

Onboarding capital into Romania's energy transition.

WestOne Energy is a Romania-focused energy infrastructure company connecting investment capital with ready-to-build solar and battery storage projects. We identify viable projects, structure financing around each project's risk and capital profile, and introduce vetted investors directly to project developers.

Every onboarded investment carries our own product and EPC supply into the resulting transaction — supporting larger deals, stronger margins and a durable, repeatable pipeline. Engineering and construction is delivered through our established EPC contracting partners in Romania, with energy management software and power purchase arrangements integrated once a project reaches delivery.

02Investment onboarding

How capital enters a WestOne-structured project.

Outcome: larger deals, stronger margins and a durable pipeline.
1

Identify

Viable energy projects are screened against land position, grid connection, permitting readiness and technical feasibility.

2

Structure

Financing solutions are built around each project's risk, development status and capital profile.

3

Introduce

Vetted investors are matched and introduced directly to the project developers.

4

Secure

WestOne product and EPC supply is secured into the resulting transaction, creating a durable pipeline.

03Transaction process

A fixed seven-step sequence.

One disciplined sequence keeps every stakeholder — developer, investor and EPC partner — aligned from first discussion through to construction.
  1. T.1

    Initial discussions

Confirm investor mandate, project fit and the basis for further engagement.

  2. T.2

    Letter of intent

Record serious interest, intended scope and the preliminary terms required to advance.

  3. T.3

    Investor confirmation

Validate the investor's commitment, decision process and capacity to proceed.

  4. T.4

    Exclusivity

Create an agreed period in which the parties can progress the opportunity with commercial clarity.

  1. T.5

    Due diligence

Review project, legal, technical, grid, permitting, financial and commercial information.

  2. T.6

    Transaction

Agree and complete the investment or acquisition arrangements, subject to approvals and conditions.

  3. T.7

    EPC and construction

Activate the engineering and delivery pathway, moving the project towards energisation.

04Value created

Two perspectives, one transaction structure.

Value for investors

  • Access to screened Romanian solar and battery storage opportunities.
  • A structured engagement pathway rather than uncoordinated introductions.
  • Visibility of the proposed EPC and construction route during investment assessment.
  • A route towards integrated EMS, trading and PPA support after energisation.

Value for project developers

  • Introductions to investors aligned with the size and profile of the project.
  • A defined transaction sequence that supports focus and accountability.
  • EPC and technical delivery considered as part of the commercial structure.
  • Continuity from capital formation through construction and operation.

Delivery on the ground

Engineering, procurement and construction coordinated from design through to energisation.

05What we do

One delivery model across the project lifecycle.

From ready-to-build sourcing through engineering, procurement and construction to energy management, trading and offtake.
01

Source

Ready-to-build project supply

We focus on projects where land position, grid connection and permitting are established or advancing, so review can concentrate on execution rather than early-stage uncertainty.

02

Build

Engineering and EPC

Engineering, procurement and construction are coordinated through established EPC contractors in Romania — design, procurement, construction management, commissioning and energisation.

03

Manage

Energy management

Integrated energy management systems monitor generation, storage dispatch and consumption in real time to protect project economics after energisation.

04

Deliver

Trading, PPA and offtake

Energy trading capability supports Power Purchase Agreements and offtake arrangements that move completed assets into contracted operation.

06Engineering and EPC

What EPC delivery can include.

WestOne Energy works with established EPC contractors in Romania, supporting engineering, construction and ready-to-build delivery from design through to energisation.

08Trading, PPA and offtake

A commercial route into contracted operation.

  • Support for Power Purchase Agreements and offtake structures.
  • Route-to-market considerations addressed as part of project planning.
  • Commercial alignment between generation profile and contracted demand.
  • Long-term renewable supply discussions with commercial and industrial energy users.

A PPA is only concluded once definitive documentation has been executed by the relevant parties.
